Yeah, that works for the ones overhead. But around here a lot of them are 
low down on poles off to the side, and they just happen to be right 
behind the top frame (for me). Ah well, when I was in Spain earlier this 
year (driving an Alfa sedan), the stop lights were right on the curb next 
to the crosswalk, about where the "walk/don't walk" signals would be in 
the US. I had to have the front seat passsenger watch 'em for me, they 
were out of sight above the roofline.
