Just a little info... 185/70 14 simply means 185mm wide and (70% of 185mm)
tall. or 129.5mm tall.

So, not sure how tall a 165/14 is, but if you currently have one you could
measure it and match a "modern" tire to it. So, if it measures say 115mm
tall that would be close to a 165/70.

Personally, I think a 185/70 is a nice looking tire.

175/70 will be a little taller and a little more narrow than a 185/60. A
175/65 will be about the same height but a little more narrow than a 185/60.

Hope I got that all correct... I have been doing tons of research on this
myelf recently.
