I dunno. I get a pseudo diesel (it never diesels properly, but makes a lame
attempt) ever since i replaced the ignition. obviously, it is worst when the
car is cold and the choke is out. Actually it rarely happens once it is
warmed up. It's beginning to worry me though... it's one of the many things
to get fixed during the upcoming tune up. have you checked the run-on valve?
do you have one? if the tubing is cracked or loose it can lead to dieseling
(had that happen too once)
