I would also comment that most messages are generally on-topic. The
signal-to-noise ratio of this list is pretty high (which is good). There's
the rare political discussion which you can ignore, and the occasional
digression about cats, which is always entertaining, as they are loathsome
beasts. Other than that, this is the rare place where you can ask any
damned question about a 20 to 70 (?) year old car and get an answer back
from not one, but probably 3 people who have been there and done that. And
get it back within 24 hours. That's well worth the trouble.
What might be nice, though, would be if the mailer inserted an identifier,
like <mgs-l> or something in the subject heading, to make it easier to
visually identify. But other than that, it's hard to complain.
