I am currently in the market for another british car...my wife wants an
'85-87 Jag XJ6. Found a car lot that had 3 XJ6's on hand so we went to take
a look. Well we hooked up with the biggest asshole salesman I've ever
encountered (and that's saying a lot). I think because this is an upscale
dealer with $50,000+ Porsche's and such, he didn't want to deal with our
puny $7000 sale. They also had a '61 MGA 1600 in the showroom, and I made a
comment about me having a '76 MGB and he acted like he could care less.
Needless to say, I won't be buying anything ever from Park Place Ltd in
Redmond, WA!!!
PS- If anyone knows of a XJ6 in good condition in the Seattle area, let me
know.
