Which MGA? The 1500 uses twin filament bulbs both front and rear, 21 watts
for the high filament and 6 watts for the low filament. The 1600 usues
that same bulb for the tail light and brake light, but, both the front and
rear turn signals use a single filament 21 watt bulb.

These bulbs are available under several different numbers. Go to your
local cheap parts store or any discont department store with an auto
department. For the twin filament bulb find the bubble pack that says
"Parking Light and Brake Light/Turn Signal", which will have two filaments
and two contacts on the base. For the single filament bulb find the pack
that says "Turn Signal or Brake Light", which will have a single 21 watt
filament and one contact on the bottom. Do not get the one that has one
filament and says "Parking Light", as that is a single 6 watt filament and
not bright enough for the turn signals.
