Well I have searched the archives for most of the morning and have decided
to go ahead and ask some questions.

1) What is the leaner needle for AUD405 SU's (moss catalog does not list
one)?

As you may recall I just rebuilt a 70 B engine. Basically I replaced
everything balanced and bored .60 over, hotter reground cam, new aluminum
standard head. In the recent past I was having a problem with not getting
enough fuel (blocked jet tube was the culprit). Now I seem to have the
opposite problem. I got my Colortune in the mail on Friday and gave it a
try over the weekend. Long story short, I could not lean out the carbs -
the jets are completely closed (adjusted up) and it still runs rich. BTW,
the carbs where rebuilt as well.

2) What would cause rich mixture? Dashpot not fully seated (looks good and
falls with a click)? Float level too high (I can't adjust the plastic
floats and they don't seem to leak)

Thanks again,

Dereck

PS I'm on the digest, please respond directly.
