I've finally gone to the Trasko filtration system for both the new
engines in my MGB and Vanagon, installed this summer. Only 2000 miles
so far, but the oil is as clean as when it went in. After 3000 miles of
break in, I'll go with Red Line synthetic motor oil and not change it at
all, just keep it topped off. Or maybe I'll change it every 20,000 miles
or so. I'll keep you posted.
