Another one for the fleet?

I picked up another LBC tonight.

  It's titled as a 1971 MGB roadster, but it's
a split rear bumper that I suspect is really a 1970.

Shockingly, it's less than 800 cars after the MGB
I owned and restored a few years ago!

I'm not sure what to do with it. I primarily wanted it for
the healthy 1800cc engine and overdrive transmission,
to be put in my Magnette.

However, you know how it goes, you look at the car
and it seems such a shame to rip it out for a
drivetrain when it's still more or less a car.

It was running rough, but I could see fuel pouring
out of the front carb overflow so with a new needle
valve it'd probably run fine. The seller said it ran
great last year when it was last used, and the
compression test was all good.

The bad news, the car has rust in all of the
worst places. The sills are flapping in the breeze,
the castle rails are gone. The dog legs are showing
a bubbling up repair from yesteryear.

Would anyone be interested in buying this car
from me without a drivetrain? Maybe somebody wants to
try a V8 project or something?

I suspect I'll part it out after I get my bits, but
it's probably a little too good for that.
