18V engine wanted

Looks as if it's time (90k miles) to serious think about boring the 77B's
engine.  I don't want to rush myself, nor do I want the car immobilized for a
lengthy stretch.  What I think I'd like to do is to find a non-smoking,
non-clanking 18V engine to slip in for awhile until I'm finished with the work
on the original.  Anybody out there in the New England area with such a piece of
machinery?
