starter

Hey List,
Don't write often but ran across a problem tonight and do not have time to
look through the archive's.  Tried to start the 73 BGT and it did not take
right off and after letting off the key the starter kept spinning.  removed
the key and starter was still spinning.  A BFH later the started stopped but
now shows no sign of life.  Should add that just the starter was spinning,
it was not engaging the flywheel.  Any time saving help would be
appreciated.
