I was getting confused with NGK and Champion (yuk!) plug codes. On the mini
I use NGK 6BPES plugs. That is where I got the "6" from. Not sure if it
represents the temperature, or, if it does, whether NGK and Champion use the
same temp codes.

PS: I hate Champions because they seem to soot up more than NGKs. Bosch
copper are ok too. Never had any luck with Champions on the mini. Misfires
gallore. NGK V-groove are the ones for me.
