Any words of advise before I install the carpets in my son's 79 B tonight?
I have the Vicky Brit book on interior installation, but I was wondering if
anyone that had BTDT had any additional words of wisdom.
Also, what is the purpose of the wood and aluminum spacers under the seat
rails? I read Paul Hunts article on replacing the wood runners with
aluminum bar stock. But I still don't understand what their purpose or the
large round spacers is. Does it just lift the seat off the floor so it
slides easier?
The car is coming along pretty good. It looks now that we may even finish
it for my son to take back to college the 8th of January. Just have to wait
and see how it goes. Needless to say, without this list we would be a lot
further behind than we are. In fact my son is even starting to get involved
with the "father & son" project, finally.
