Hi Rob,
     Stop into your local car parts store and look through there pcv , and
breather filter selection for American cars and imports.  You will find a
round flat yellow filter (aprox. 4-5" across) that is used for the charcoal
canisters on American cars.  Just snip to fit, and place it in your canister
along with the new charcoal and your good to  go. While your at it check
that your line from gas tank to charcoal canister is not clogged and replace
the 3 canister hoses.
