Paul Tegler asks a pertinent question of John (altering the rear ride-height
can affect the front, so we could do with befores and afters) and Lawrie of
Paul. There was a change in spring height in November 72, Clausager claims
it was 1/2" but the period Factory Workshop Manual states 1/4". The major
height change came with rubber bumpers as Lawrie says, and then only because
of the mounting changes not because of the springs, which remained the same
on the GT although the roadster was commonised with the GT at that time.

John might like to have a look at the chart and table listing ride-heights
of 25 GTs and Roadsters from 64 to 79 on the web site below - select
'Spanners' and 'Ride Height'.
