Ok, all you wimps out there - I've seen a bunch of you posting that it got up to
44 or so and you are taking the MG out. I usually have a winter car - my 1969
Porsche 911T targa - but this winter the rear suspension broke in about early
January. So, I've been driving my 1967 MGB ever since. Every day 30 miles each
way to work, in snow, ice, and cold. So cold, that we didn't see 40 as a high
for almost 3 months (about mid November to end of Feb). And night time temps in
Idaho Falls have gone from -15 up to a top of about 20. And in about a month,
when the lows are 40, and the highs 75, I'll be driving top down everyday.

Yes, my top is up, frostbite is not good for you. But buck up guys and gals -
especially with later cars - they are just cars. Albeit fun, pretty, hobby,
showy, sports cars, but still they are made to drive. Why wouldn't you take
your MG out if it was below 44 degrees (other than that you simply don't have a
top). Now the MGA, that's another story - they are a little too drafty for this
weather.
