My guess would be saggy or broken (or missing) motor mounts. The rack can't
really move, without some readily apparent side effects, that is. The
pulley-to-rack on my CBB is close, but at least an inch -- at any rate I can
change the belt. RBBs have more clearance everywhere, right?
