"Corn" in the King's English vernacular means wheat or small
grain.  What people in the US call "corn", the English use the
word maize.  Since King Tut's tomb and many others were found and
explored by the English, objects are described using their
terminology.  So let's close the bonnet, fold the hood, polish
the wings, put away the spanners and split pins and go touring.
