Scott,

       I've just completed a total rebuild of the engine in my 77B, including 
new
motor and transmission mounts.  There is virtually no engine motion whatsoever.
I think you'll find that the engine steady is unnecessary when you get the new
mounts in place.

    I've forgotten your location, but Sears' 9/16" GearWrench fits beautifully
into that narrow confine.
