Hi All,

I have the windshield off my '69 B while it's in the paint shop and am
going to replace the glass. In the Moss manual there's a "howto" on
this procedure. It says to put sealer on the underside of the
frame-to-body seal and on both sides of the pillar grommets but doesn't
recommend the type of sealer. The guys in the club made recommendation
running from black RTV to nothing at all; some saying they've installed
the assembly dry and never had a leak. Does anyone on the list who's
done this job have a recommendation?

The Moss "howto" says to install the W/S to the body and let it sit
overnight to compress the seals before installin the pillar bolts.
Well, if I do that and have used sealer, I'm concerned that I may not be
able to make small adjustments to the assembly's position after the
sealer dries overnight. Any thoughts on that?

Any other hints or tricks about installing the assembly?

  TIA,

  Charley Robinson
