I write at this time to express my apologies to
any list member who mat have recieved from my computer the recent sircam worm
virus.
I have been away for most of the last 2 weeks,
coming home briefly on Sunday the 22nd. I found that my computer had been
infected when my daughter unsuspectingly opened an e-mail she thought was from
a friend inviting her opinion of an attached file...you know the rest, the
virus was in my computer and quickly made its damage widesread and went off to
everyone I have ever e-mailed, even people whom I may have corresponded with
only once a year ago. Needless to say there were MANY e-mails to my computer,
some helpful many not.
I hope that noone was infected by the actions of the virus in my computer, but
to anyone who was my apologies.
