I was trying to check/add oil to the steering rack on my 69 GT and ran into
the problem of removing the the damper yoke. Is the center of the yoke
threaded, and if so what size? My effort to gently pry on the sides (without
damaging) of the yoke did not produce successful results. The damper spring
did not pop the yoke out and role away from me as expected, any suggestions
on the removal of the yoke?
