Tom Boes asks about R&R of freeze plug on rear of engine.
Tom,
If you jack engine & loosen or remove engine mounts, you MAY be able to
shift engine forward enough to remove & replace that aftermarket freeze
plug. My engine had enough fore-aft movement that it caused the fan to tear
up my radiator before I installed an anchor cable to hold engine/trans in
place on hard braking. Certainly worth a try before going through effort to
R&R the entire engine.
