What is the weight and dimensions of a MGB 5 main block when completely
stripped down?

I might be able to ship via UPS Freight. The rules are: the crate cannot
weight more than 150 lbs AND the combined girth and length cannot exceed
130 inches. That is, the length (the largest dimension) + 2 x height + 2 x
width < 130 inches. I know from others responses that Midget and MGA
motors are "light" enough, but don't know for MGB's.

As for packing it, I have gotten two suggestions, one is to wrap the block
in heavy cardboard and let it go. Second is to go to Walmart and get one
of those large plastic storage containers and a block can fit in there. It
this will work for a MGB block, I could get the block shipped in one
container, and the rest shipped in another containers door to door.

Thanks
Patton
