What is it worth?
1974 MGB Orange with luggage rack. Engine is out of car and on the ground.
Head is off. No obvious damage to it but it has been open to the elements and
the pistons are rusted. No rods sticking out of the block. Oil pan is also
off.
Top has seroius rip. Interior is damp but in tact. Dash has vertical tear in
it. Has all instruments. It has 5 painted wire wheels and tires are mostly
flat. Hood has dents and rust spots. There is rust break trough on the sills.
The wings have rust at the bottom where they meet the outter sills. Sellor
claims that he bought the car from a mechanic shop and that there was
nothing wrong with the engine but PO wated more HP.Car was sold for mechanics
lien.
I would like the car for engine rebuild project as learning excercise and to
part out.
Sellor wants $600.00 firm!!! But who knows how firm.
