Quite sad.
Being a long-time Road & Track subscriber, I've enjoyed Walker's race reports
and general musings about F1 for a long time. I still miss his comprehensive
F1 race reports that used to be a mainstay in the magazine.
I was privileged to have enjoyed watching Akin race in IMSA GTP in the 80s, and
in a few vintage events since his retirement from professional driving. He
always seemed like an approachable guy, friendly, not too hurried to sign
autographs or talk with the fans.
I am indeed sorry to see them leave us. They will be missed.
