I too am a long time "Road & Track" subscriber. However when the
subscription runs out that's it. Except for Egan's column and the
occasional road trip or saloon, it's not any different than "Car &
Driver" or "Motor Trend." The 'Track' is gone with very little on the
racing scene. It was writers like Henry Maney, Rob Walker, Phil Hill,
Innes Ireland, etc. that made the 'Track.' Reading their stuff was like
standing beside the race course watching. I will greatly miss Rob's
material and humor.
