Subject: Wiring routing
The last 2 cars I have done have had all the wiring except the main battery
cable & the wire to the fuel tank sender run inside the body.

I separated the wires so they lay flat on the floor next to the sill on the
passenger side & used hot glue to hold them in place. They run up to the
rear along the fender & on my roadster, they pass through along the inside
of the fender & across at the rear of the trunk as the original harness.

I have been in correspondence with a lister re wiring - but I have deleted
the email so I have no contact address. But here is the information I
wanted to impart. I am going to route the wire for the rear lights etc
over the door (GT) and down - This means the wire will not go on the
outside of the car. The usual routing under the chassis was probably done
for cost rather than for suitability. This was my wiring will not be
endangered by stones and the teeth of road kills, etc.

Barrie
