The Castrol is probably 15W/40 if GTX. It changed to that in the UK
relatively recently from 15W/50 (and a long time ago from 20W/50) and I
noticed a slight drop. The advertising here states "30% better protection
on cold starts". Hardly surprising with the thinner viscosity. I tried
Duckhams 20W/50 but didn't like it so went back to Castrol anyway.
