Looks like I fell for the Castrol marketing. I have been using Syntec
20/50 for more than 5 years on my B. Always been happy, good oil
pressure, almost no leaks, no reason to change........
Then I saw the new "High Mileage" oil from Castrol - "specially formulated
for cars with more the 75,000". So I changed from Syntec to the new oil
on Friday night.
Well, Saturday was a long drive in the car (200 miles at 75-80mph - isn't
overdrive great !!) .
Running oil pressure is down by 10psi and idle oil pressure is down by 5psi.
Anybody else see this happen with this new oil ?
