Whoa there Nellie!
Granted a lowered MGB RBB does look pretty neat and sleek just don't go hawg
wild and lower it too much because then you'll have a car that would
potentially be like a wedge and slide under the bumper of the car ahead of
it---Doing very serious and costly...hurting, causing possibly even fatal
injuries (to the MG) And even the driver and the passenger of the MGB! I hate
remembering the terrible accident I saw one otherwise beautiful sunny and
clear day, when for some reason the driver of an MGB drove his roadster
underneath the rear end of a flat-bed truck shearing off the wind screen
and.....well you can imagine my horror at the sight of an otherwise beautiful
MGB-RBB-BRG-OTS roadster UNDER the rear portion of the flatbed. Who was in
the MGB? Were they..could they have survived? Did they suffer or was it quick
and merciful? Also, there was the time near another construction site, a
water truck, the kind that sprays the dirt roads with water from 10 or more
large spray nozzles to keep down the dust made by the huge graders & skip
loaders that fill up those huge dirt movers and bottom dumpers., backed up
about a foot or so shoving the 3 rear nozzles and two rear side sprayers into
my bonnet, it really distroyed the sheet metal and ruined my day as you could
imagine...And so as you can tell, the better the fit of the bumper onb the
car, the better I feeling I have driving it.
