Speedometer ????

To All:

I have 67 MGB with a 67 engine(numbers unknown)with
a 68-74 LH Overdrive unit.  My speed on the speedometer
is about 50 MPH at 3500 RPM and at 60 MPH the tach
is at 4500 RPM when the OD is engaged.

So my ??? is does this sound correct and if it is not where
do I start to look  for the problem???
