I went the dual SU route this spring. It's a world of difference.
I probably spent too much, got a set off ebay. And for some reason,
had 1 rear HIF sitting around. Good thing too. Starting the rebuild
I found that the rear of the set wasn't good. The piston stuck badly.

After the rebuild. I got nickeled and dimed for studs, nuts,
aircleaners, throttle, choke, tailpipe expander, clamps, hoses, etc.,
etc., etc.

Doing it over, I'd look seriously at Mechspec's Buy-it-now on ebay. If
the carbs are in good working order, that gives you everything except
the aircleaners. I know that people have had trouble with them on the
list, particularly on transmissions, but it looks like that is sorted
out.

Being a pack-rat, I'm not ready to part with the ZS stuff. Sorry. Maybe
we could trade ZS for A-H? :-) No, I can't have another car. :-) And
I certainly can't afford that. Always liked the Big Healey.

Paul.
