on my '67 the main jets are on th bottom of the main carb housings, you
turn them up [ towards the top of the carb to lean them out, go for
smooth idle,
the best thing is to get a manual and follow step by step instruction,
to achive maximum results, after setting vlave lash, and
timing/dwell...carbs should be the last thing adjusted
