I have had problems with my ignition switch which, itself, is an aftermarket 
replacement.  Seems the switch can turn in its setting unless the set tabs are 
securely bent down.  These are fairly tiny tabs, but unless they are tucked 
down, especially in the corners, they will allow the switch to rotate just a 
bit in the mounting.  These tabs can be found on the left side of the steering 
column under a rubber cap.  Standard cautionary words about dealing with 
exposed wires, etc., with the battery still hooked up.
