I'm in the middle of changing the head gasket on my '76 ( with a '78 engine ),
trying to squeeze out one more ride before the snow flies.
Two push rods aren't seating down to the cam. I've wiggled and twisted but I
can't get it down to the lobe. I kept them in order like the shop manual says
but they just do go down.
Any ideas?
