Or were they? That is today's question.

I thought they were standard. I have mine in the dashboard and the wiring 
looks standard. It is located near the ignition switch, left of the toggle 
switches. I'll investigate further when I get home (unless someone else 
pipes in) when I can check Clausagers and maybe some wiring diagrams from 
Bentley, plus look at the dash in my son's 65B. I thought my 65B also had 
the lighter but that was so long ago (almost 30 years) that I cannot be 
positive.

My 67BGT has the OD tranny and a MG labelled steering wheel that may have 
been a dealer installed item so maybe the car was a bit more "deluxe" when 
it came to options.
