Three day weekend, a 'free' day, lots of LBC time... Not really.
We had a wonderful three-day weekend but no LBCing got done. The Midget
sits sans fuel pump. I need to get that work done but -- there were just
too many other fun things to do. Here's a mini-report:
+ Completely detailed the interior of our '96 Land Rover Discovery. This
had to be done before some folks came over last evening to consider buying
it. My daughter had driven it for a semester at school -- and it looked
it!!!
+ Completely detailed the interior of my daily driver, the '96 BMW 740iL.
It was already nicer than most cars but these preventative details are what
KEEP it looking new.
+ Performed maintenance on the two cars above; oil, engine compartment, etc.
PLUS disconnecting all the electrical connectors and flushing them out with
WD-40. That's what keeps them functional, especially the Land Rover. Being
British, it needs a little more TLC on the electricals.
That's it. By the time that was all done and some household honey-dos, the
three day weekend is over.
I guess the fuel pump will have to wait until later this week.
