I'll differ a little from the other responses so far. My other fun car was
originally purchased for the times when I *couldn't* enjoy the fun of the
MGA, mainly bad weather and the off season. I replaced my 20 foot Ford F-150
with a Subaru WRX wagon. Fun in the summer, and now fun in the winter,
right? Wrong! The Subaru is so fun I find myself looking for opportunities
to take it out for a romp, and feel guilty leaving the A in the garage more
than I should.

I've modified it to be a stealthy grocery getter-wagon, yet upped the
performance to yield more fun. I don't street race, I went to the drag strip
for the first time ever this spring, autocross, and look for any available
twisty back road. I hang out with the local Subaru owners club for picnics
and events. I'm one of a couple 50 year olds amongst 20-30 year olds, the
youngest even having WRX STi graduation presents. Sometimes, they're more
fun than the stodgy Brit car club members who only take their cars to events
less than a dozen miles from home...

Having fun in any weather,
Steve
