It's a web page devoted to Kinetic Sculpture Racing.  Typically the
kinetics use ATV or Motorcycle components for light weight.  Car
components are going to be too heavy to be useful.

Humor me here :^)

OK - so if you were going to make a 4 wheeledd pedal powered (human 
powered) vehicle which was basically going to be just a few hundred 
pounds at the most, and it would have two wheels powering it, would you 
at all consider using the differential from a vehicle such as an MG to 
drive the two wheels?  That's assuming some kind of pedal/chain/gearing 
system was driving a main driveshaft, and then each wheel was off the 
differential.
