My 68 MGB had the stow-away top and I loved it. You lose a little
trunk space with the top down, but you gain a large stowage area
on top of the battery compartment, which is totally concealed by the
tonneau cover whether its extended or fastened back. At the time,
my Mom worked at the Tacoma blood bank and they got typing serum
in these thick-walled Abbot Chemical styrofoam ice chests that fit
perfectly behind the tonneau cover and kept, uh, refreshments cold
for two days even in summer heat. Maybe Moss could reproduce those?
I recently found one that could be used as a pattern. :-)
