Back in college, my best buddy had a 65 B, with fabulous Italian Racing Red
paint (who knows why), and the chrome side strips removed and the holes
filled (again, who knows why). It really gave the car a different look -- we
liked to think it looked like a Ferrari 250 Spyder. BTW, this car was the
typical tart sold to unsuspecting students -- new paint, and oil pressure
that dropped to 5 as soon as it warmed up. Still, he drove it for a year,
then traded it in on a 69 Mustang Mach 1 (a POS in a different sort of way).
