  I would suspect theres a lot of taper in the cylinder bores.  How much 
sode play when the pistons are at the bottom of travel?  How much of a 
ridge is there at the top of the cylinders?  If you can catch your 
fingernail on the ridges there may be no use reringing it without boring 
it out.
