| Ulp!  Now I would say that regardless of the circumference of the wheels a
mile of track would still go round for each mile travelled (ignoring
slippage).  What *would* be different is the distance travelled as indicated
in the cabin...

  OK...I got it, if the track on an Abrams is 46 feet in length, if you change
from one size drive wheel to another, for each mile the tank travels, a
different amount of track will meet the road.  I just assumed that if it
traveled a mile, a mile of track would be rotated.  I guess I'm just dense.
