We had a good weekend at the June Sprints at Road America.

My brother did well, 3rd in H Production, behind a blazingly
fast Spitfire (1275) and a Spridget. The Spridget caught Rich
on the last lap. Oh well.

There was a 3 car accident at the green flag. 3 cars got crunched.
the Civic who paddocked next to us got hit by someone. All three
were unhurt, but the Civic looks bad.

During the 3 laps of full course Yellow flag, a guy in a Civic
was passing, including between a car and the wrecker.

Apparently, he said that he thought the others were 'waving
him by'. Yeah right.

A 'B won E Production. Nice car. Started life as a '63. I was out
of memory on the camera, so I didn't get a shot of it.

Very few old LBCs there. The only street B I saw was on the
track during the lunch break (they sell you the opportunity
for this for $50 or so). Other than that, a TR3, an Alpine,
a Tiger and an MGTC. That's all I remember. They're all in
my web page.

It was sad, the only car in the Brit crib was a VW. The Z Zone
had 1 240Z. The Corvette had 8 cars or so. Mostly boaring C4-5s.
But a nice '61.

The Quattroporte is just beautiful. (I have a soft spot for Maserati's).

I posted some pictures:

I had to block the Crew pictures. They are mostly of our kids, and
they don't need to be all over the internet.

I got a picture of some wild rear suspension work and body work of
a 'B. He was changing out the differentail at a mad pace in the
paddock. Started from the back of the pack, but at least he finished.

Paul.
