There are a couple of possibilites. the first is that you have a bad master.
You can chek it easily by using line clamps. Clamp each of the three brake
hoses. Press the pedal, it should be rock hard. If not, you have a bad
master. then remove a line clamp and press the pedal. The pedal shoudl drop
just a little. Replace the clamp, and remove a differentone. Press the pedal
again. Repeat with the third clamp. When the pedl acts up, you have found
where the problem is.
If it is the back, and the parking brake is set , I would check to see if the
shoes were installed correctly. Check that a shoe is not inverted (upside
down) and that the springs, adjuster and cables are in the right place.
