They were available from dealers as an add on option.  I sold a unit and 
a half I got on ebay a few years back, it went for about $350 if I 
recall correctly.
It fit up under the passenger side of the dash with ducts over to the 
driver side.  You can probably pick up a modern aftermarket one, but it 
is going to tax your little 1.8 liter.
