Sorry to bomb the lists with this, but a local collector has a 1950 Austin A40
Delivery van for sale. Along with the van, he has two Austin pedal cars (a
J40 and a Pathfinder) -- very rare, very valuable. All have been
professionally restored. I have seen the A40 van and can attest that it is
fine. I have only seen pics of the pedal cars and must say they look as great
as well.
He is in West Bend, WI and is asking $25K for the van, pedal cars and much
Austin memorabilia. $20K for the van alone. It is believed that there is
less than 5 of these in country and this is probably the best example. It's
hard to imagine that you could restore one of these to this level for this
kind of money.
