A dead pedal is the usual solution for this
inconvenience. However, the Mark I B uses a floor switch for the
hi-beams. A
dead pedal, it seemed to me, would block access to this floor switch.
The TR3 has a dead pedal and a floor mounted dip switch. The dead pedals
is about 2" depression in the side of the cowl and the dip switch is
mounted at the same height right next to this depression. Thus rocking
the foot to the right will operate the switch.
