OK, so here's a question for a slow day. The MGA defroster slot
finisher piece has a scoop shape to direct the air. Common sense
would say that this scoop should direct the air toward the
glass. But when I go to car shows, I see a small number of cars with
these scoops mounted the other way. When I look at vintage photos
and videos, it looks like they point toward the glass, though it is a
difficult thing to see clearly. So, my question is, is it in fact
correct for these to point forward toward the glass? And is there
some other reason some of these are reversed, other than installation
error? I did have one guy tell me that his rear facing outlets were
correct, and everyone else was wrong!
